Dua at Iftar

(Allahumma laka sumtu wa ‘ala rizqika aftartu) – O Allah! I fasted for You and I break my fast with Your provision.

Dua during 1st Ashra (Days 1–10): Mercy

(Rabbighfir warham wa anta khayrur-raahimeen) – My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the best of the merciful.

Dua during 2nd Ashra (Days 11–20): Forgiveness

(Astaghfirullāha rabbī min kulli dhambin wa atūbu ilayh) – I seek forgiveness from Allah, my Lord, from every sin, and I turn to Him in repentance.

Dua during 3rd Ashra (Days 21–30): Protection from Hellfire

(Allahumma ajirni min an-naar) – O Allah, save me from the Hellfire.

Dua for Laylatul Qadr

(Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul-‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni) – O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me.

Understanding Fitrana

The amount for Fitrana this year is £7 per person.

Fitrana, also known as Zakat al-Fitr, is obligatory upon every Muslim who has more than their basic needs at the end of Ramadan. It must be paid on behalf of each member of the household, including adults, children, and dependants.

⏰ When should it be paid?
Fitrana must be paid before the Eid prayer. While it can be given at any point during Ramadan, it is strongly recommended to pay it early so it reaches those in need in time for Eid.

🤲 Why is Fitrana given?
Fitrana helps purify the fast from any shortcomings and provides vital support to the poor and needy, allowing them to celebrate Eid with dignity and happiness.

💻 How to pay
To fulfil your Fitrana obligation, please visit our Masjid website to make your payment. Your contribution helps ensure that everyone in our community can share in the joy of Eid.
